Quilt 6: #LoveLetterQAL
This quilt was created during a month-long course by artist Heidi Parkes called Love Letter Quilt. Throughout August 2023 this class focused on daily practice, so each day a new step in the 31- step pattern was be revealed. Heidi has quite a gift for challenging her students while also giving them just enough structure to experiment and create something unique to their own experience. This quilt felt like drawing in my sketchbook - just bigger, slower and more tactile.
