Quilt 4: Lenarts

With this big and bright quilt I tried lots new techniques and kind of just let myself do EVERYTHING. Another unplanned scrappy, improv quilt turned raffle. Benefitting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, this quilt raised $630. I newer tradition within my family is to get together in Madison on a chilly night in October to raise money, walk together and support my Uncle Jim in his fight with Leukemia at the Light The Night event.

Media: Mixed fabric scraps, cotton batting, machine pieced, hand quilted, hand embroidered
Completed: July 2023

Much love to: Sam (for the full quilt photos), Uncle Jim (who we walk Night the Light with & for each year), and the Lenarts (the quilt raffle winners who I know will love on this quilt for a long time).
